What Is Kingdom Citizen?
Kingdom Citizen is a simple apprenticeship journey under King Jesus that helps everyday people learn to live life in God’s Kingdom together. It works great with a few friends, family members, or a small group.
The four lenses of Rights, Responsibilities, Relationships, and Roles provide an easy framework for talking about what life in God’s Kingdom looks like in daily situations.
How it Works
Every week follows the same simple, repeatable rhythm: Look Back, Look Down, Look Up, and Look Forward. These four movements help you reflect, connect, discover God's truth, and take practical next steps. Click the video to see how it works.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Kingdom Citizen?
Kingdom Citizen is an apprenticeship program designed to help people learn how to live as citizens of God’s Kingdom under the leadership of Jesus.
Is this for new believers?
Yes. Kingdom Citizen is designed to be accessible for new believers while still providing value for mature Christians.
How much preparation does it take each week?
Very little. The only preparation is completing the weekly lessons yourself. Beyond that, there is no additional lesson planning or teaching preparation required. The app guides you through the entire gathering, allowing you to focus on facilitating the conversation rather than preparing content.
Can I do this alone?
While there are countless resources for individual growth, Kingdom Citizen was intentionally designed to be experienced with others. We believe people grow best in the context of relationships, which is why this experience is built for small groups, friends, family, coworkers, or neighbors learning to follow Jesus together.
Who was Kingdom Citizen built for?
Kingdom Citizen was built for everyday people who feel called to help others follow Jesus but want a simple, practical way to do it. It provides a clear path for making disciples through relationships and shared discovery.
How much time does it take?
Each week includes four short individual lessons that take about 10–15 minutes each, plus one 60-minute gathering with your group. That's less than two hours per week to grow in your faith and help others do the same.
What happens after completing the program?
Participants are equipped to continue growing as apprentices of Jesus and help others begin their own Kingdom Citizen journey.
Is Kingdom Citizen affiliated with a denomination?
Kingdom Citizen is centered on Jesus, Scripture, and life in God’s Kingdom. Christians from many different backgrounds can participate.
What is the ultimate goal of Kingdom Citizen?
The goal of Kingdom Citizen is not simply personal growth, but multiplication. We want to help people become apprentices of Jesus who then help others do the same, creating a chain reaction of transformation that spreads from person to person, family to family, community to community, and ultimately throughout the world.
About Us
Kingdom Citizen was created by Dustin Doll, John Cox and Jason Doll, a small team of entrepreneurs and movement leaders based in the Kansas City area. For years, we've been passionate about helping people follow Jesus through simple, reproducible disciple-making practices that can spread from person to person and community to community.
Our focus is creating practical tools that help people make disciples, start groups, develop leaders, and multiply healthy simple expressions of Church.
What We Believe
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, sent to save the world and restore us to the Father. God created all things, His Word is true, and the Holy Spirit is alive and active today. We are apprentices of Jesus, committed to being with Him, becoming like Him, and doing what He did.
